Chair of the Board of the British Library Sir Colin Lucas visited the Cinema Museum in Tehran, along with the British Library’s Curator of Persian and Turkish Collections Dr. Muhammad Isa Waley and Head of Asia, Pacific and Africa Collections Dr. Graham Shaw.

After a conducted tour of the different sections of the museum, Sir Lucas and company expressed their amazement and delight on the existence of such a museum in Iran, reports the Museum’s Public Relations.

In separate notes, the eminent visitors referred to the celebrated presence and accomplishments of Iran’s cinema in the international scene and wished for further rise and success of the Iranian cinema and all involved members.    

The evolution of the Iranian cinema from the beginning to the present day is on public display in seven different halls at the Cinema Museum.
